Obviously their best chance is an Oklahoma loss though.

I actually won our coaches pool yesterday. I picked Auburn 27-24.

I never said Bama would win. I said they have an NFL player at every position and they will be fine. The committee knows this too.

There is an NFL team sitting there at 11-1. Do you really take a team that lost to Syracuse or Pitt over them?

This could be the year that starts the snowball for an 8 team playoff which makes the most sense imo... because if Alabama loses and gets in the playoff then shit is going to hit the fan.

People forget that Ohio State got in last year with the same resume that Alabama has right now.

Exactly. Bama being 11-1 and not winning their division plays into how strong the SEC is. You have a 10-2 team that has beaten the #1 team twice in their last three games against an 11-1 team on the other side.

The ACC can make this same argument with two 11-1 teams. The thing with the ACC are those two losses are to shit teams. If Auburn finishes up Georgia again they will be the #1 seed.

Oklahoma lost to Iowa State. Bama by far has the best loss.
