According to Twitter responses, older teens find Neil Young to be overhyped

Joey's impression of a Neil Young guitar solo isn't though. Neil is fine to me though.

Yoots today don't know shit about good music.
I'm breaking my rule about seeing old washed up rock stars live this summer by seeing Neil Young and Crazy Horse on July 25th down by the Deschutes River.

I saw old Neil 20 years ago at the Muckleshoot amphitheater
Great show.
Saw him at the Coliseum in 75

I do think Neil is is much better form today than the Rolling Stones, McCartney, etc.
I listened to the some YouTube stuff from San Diego early this year and it sounds like the normal raw, sloppy Crazy Horse stuff you'd hear on Rust.

I was never the biggest fan of Neil but this IS what i did like about him ~ his lyrical guitar work was awesome and this
is a great example

Neil Young is a pretty lousy singer. Easy to sound the same now as his heyday when he wasn't known for vocal talent.

I'm going to Metallica at the end of August at whatever they call Seahawks Stadium. Also saw Megadeth last year. Top tier shredding at that one. Metallica is just more so I can see them before they start dying off.

Megadeath is coming to Bend on Aug 13th. Hard pass, Boss!

I will be there. Both days.

Neil didn't had a "traditionally" great singing voice, but his idiosyncratic vocals fit the musical themes perfectly.
And I suspect @RaceBannon will agree with me that Neil's songwriter chops were as good as anybody in the rock era. Not many guysm can compete with Cortez the Killer type stuff lyrically.

White River the day before, but the wife won't let me take my 4 year old metal head.

I saw Metallica the last Tim they played Seahawk Stadium. Would/will go again. 10/10.

I think the yoots today hold a grudge against the people who recklessly shutdown their lives for a few years and filled in their skate parks with sand, plus those who supported such, like that old out of touch great grandpa Young is/was.

I highly doubt they’ve put any thought into it.

The kids don’t seem pissed at Taylor Swift.
