I think a 42 to 38 loss in Pasadena is more UW's script
And yeah Thamel is awkward as shit. So are pretty much all of his types which are the guys who had faces and personalities for print with headshots from 1999 that never thought they'd have to become influencers to pay for their condo in some suburb that's basically a giant Chilis.

How many programs out there can afford to do the "fire coach, pay big buyout to fired coach, hire new coach at a premium and pay their buyout to their current employer" cycle every 3 years until they get it right?
Schools are quickly going to realize they can't do this more than once a decade and fans at places like Auburn, Florida (has been program), etc are going to have to adjust their expectations.
On top of that, the best college coaches all want to LEAVE for the NFL.
The coaching carousel is not sustainable. I would not want to be a school making a hire this cycle.

Freese had back to back top ten recruiting classes. It’s not a talent issue. Freese fucked up his QB situation. Two years of Payton Thorne was bad but he paid premium money for Jackson Arnold, a kid Oklahoma told to go away. You don’t have a QB in CFB you can’t win.

Dud isn’t going to Florida, he might want a better job but Florida isn’t and they dont want him anyway ~ they still have stars in their eyes and Judd isn’t what they are hoping for. I think the places he would want to go [a top 10 destination] want a better pedigree and he isn’t there yet.
It was low scoring, I think 13-7 was the final. Also lost a couple starters to injury.
All-time terrible UW game. Trey Adams got taken out for the season and was basically never the same again. Final play of the game their typical gunslinger throws INTs against everyone other than UW overthrew his receiver on 4th down and it went to a TE who had never caught a pass before. He caught it for the first and Rapp ran over Jordan Miller breaking his leg as time expired. Stanford then roasted us with JJ Offensive-PassInterference because we had no tall corner in our only other regular season loss.
