DDY is 100000% right about USC recruiting themselves. I live down here in LA. This is a USC town. I don't think i've ever seen a real life UCLA football fan. Unless you're from the westside (lots of white people) or the nice parts of the valley (think Oaks Christian, more white people) you go to USC. Long Beach? USC territory. South Central? You guessed it. And those areas possess the best football talent. I doubt many of these kids even know who the head coach is. Seriously. They are just told from day 1 that the goal is to be a trojan.

I told @BallSacked this and he said I was just jealous of UCLA. Even when going to a sports bar on a Saturday, you hardly ever will see a UCLA fan in LA.

I swear 70% of USC's fans don't know they're a college team. When I lived in LA I was (not) shocked to see how little representation UCLA has in terms of 'fans'. The Beavs have about the same representation in Seattle sports as UCLA does in LA sports.

UCLA doesn't even have a media presence to speak of. USC all the time all the broadcasters every day
