The issue was they lied to the American people, it didn't prevent it like they claimed. It did lesson the severity, so it was a good thing for the old, infirm, fat.... but for the everyday person, under 50, they didn't need the shot. Had they said that vs mandates, it would have been received better.

Trump also tried to limit travel from China yet Democrats like Nancy Pelosi went to Chinatown SF at a superspreader event just to defy Trump while Biden called Trump “xenophobic.”
These are not serious people on the Left other than they will say and do anything to stay in power control the lives of others.
There is only over 100 years of world history showing what happens every single time authoritarian governments Left or Right gain control of the courts and the military.

The one thing the vaccines did do was give confidence to the triple maskers and curbside pickup crowd to re enter society. The second they were shown to not stop transmission, which was June 2021, the push to demand everyone get one should have been gone.
