A thought I can't quite shake

In this region during the winter months, mushrooms are your best natural source of vitamin D.
They should absolutely be part of your diet let alone on a pizza.

margherita. the thinking man’s pizza.

In my rare unsophisticated moments, pineapple has a home on my pie. Pizza Pete’s Pizza in Aberdeen, closed around 1983. Best Hawaiian I’ve had to date.
Had Papa Murphy’s last night. Not good.
less is more with pizza, hence the simple awesomeness of the margherita pie.

Olives are amazing in gin martinis and as anti pasta. They are gross on pizza.
Bruh, you need a great Greek pizza in your life.

The thing with pineapple is that it gives that perfect sweet/salty interplay. I can't explain it. Intellectually, yes, pineapples on pizza is an abortion. But, much like this board's acceptance of the latter, it just works out.
Pineapples + pizza ≠ trail mixes. I love trail mixes.

Pizza Bank in Kirkland, with pepperoni, cold tomatoes and pineapple. It's the best.

I love the name Pizza Bank. Hello, I’d like to make a pizza withdrawal.

Rocco’s in Belltown
Alibi Room in the market
Talericos in W Seattle
Dantini in Interbay
Pizzaiolo in Kirkland

Italian sausage
Pepperoni
Mushroom
Black olives
Red onion
Green bell peppers

Any combination of those ingredients is fine.
Ham and pineapple is pathetic.

Is this still the thread about pizza? JFC I thought that died days ago. Proof yet again that HH posters can get in their high horse and proclaim righteous correctness about just about anything.
Hell I can eat a wide variety of pizza styles and toppings. IDGAF how it's supposed to be though I like it that way too. Sauce and cheese, minimal ingredients, drip down your arm heaps of ingredients, thick xrustz thin crust, gluten free crust...it all works for me if done right. I require that the crust be well cooked and crisped. That's my one rule.

No fucking pineapple though.
