Is the coach they want to hire going to risk coming here before an AD is hired?
This is what makes me worry that UW takes the easy route hiring the new AD and promotes the acting-AD since she's been here awhile and is currently leading the UW hoops hiring process.

If they keep it in house then all the existing staff members can nestle back into their comfortable roles of helping to run a middling athletic department. For a university that uses the catch phrase “Growth Mindset” all the fucking time the people on staff sure seemed to bristle at a new approach to management.

She was the acting AD when DeBoer started the Smoke Weed and Talk Shit tour so I don't really care.
Sprinkle apparently really wants the job anyways so hard to imagine how she would have any impact on basketball.

Apparently Conroy had a couch sale.
Rumor is he may go to WSU if Jim Shaw gets the job. Which imho would be a stupid move for both of them.

if true, Will may as well punt his career off the space needle on the way out. He’s going to a shit school who won’t be able to recruit Seattle kids to, in a none existent conference. Honestly i don’t understand why he didn’t leave for a Seattle u, Portland state, Montana state, etc type job and start moving up the ranks. WSU at this point is a lower job than Weber state.

He was making around $400k as an assistant at UW, while the head coach at Montana State was making $180k. I can understand waiting for a MW type job and not taking a 50% haircut while going to a bottom feeder Big Sky school.
