A real laffer from the CEO today

The CEO gave a state of the website address today. It began with a diatribe about how traditional radio is dying and podcasts are where it's at (translation: we are running 3rd to fishing and horse racing on the Saturday morning slot). Also, more LPT videos of him trying to hold still while being interviewed by recently graduated communications majors.

And some shit about Fetters trying to lose weight.

Then this gem caught my eye.

"AAndy………He’s been sick for a while. I’ve never felt it was my place to tell people about what’s going on. If he wanted the info out, fine. I just didn’t feel it was my place. "

I can only assume this follows up with a "Go Aaaaandy" chant lead by Sark

I also saw that recently Butler Cabin had a post on the recruiting board along the lines of what he was hearing ... can only imagine the gold there.

And regarding AAndy ... hopefully he gets feeling better. But the comments from KJV, wow, just wow.

Fetters losing weight should be easy. Lower the calories to 4000 a day and he should be able to lose weight.

Or he could kill himself and lose weight due to decomposing. With that level of fat he has the half life of a twinkie, but in a couple thousand years his remains would look like a normal human, only more dead.

The Butler Cabin post was just about the recent center commit, Harris, who everybody was freaking out about.

By saying that he heard about the commit 24 hours after it happened?

His radio show isn't a radio show.

It's a shit show.

Kim ought to pay people money to listen to his dreck. Fortunately he doesn't have Mike Damone-like money, so I get to do other shit like coke and hookers.

The state of Dawgman is they are a business on their way to failure. The only reason they survive is they are connected to the Scout network where people can get recruiting info.

Kim tied himself to Sark which was a spectacularly bad idea as he ostracized all the best posters which cut down on the quality of their boreds. He got rid of the free board, a perfect advertisement for the premium board. After some spectacularly dumb business decisions he then started calling himself a CEO.

Dawgman no longer has any "access" and that includes Fleenor. All they can do now is share that Aandy is sick but they wont give all the info just so they can appear as insiders to some degree. Seriously guys go back to your fucking circle jerk because you dont know shit.

The Husky Fan Podcast has more "access" then they do. We were hearing that Browning won't RS and could be the guy weeks ago even before Kim's video where he said Lindquist would be the guy and Browning would RS. Even funnier is we heard Lindy might be totally out of the running. (What we are hearing so fuck off if we are wrong).

Good for Fetters if he follows through on that program. Seriously, just dont eat a fucking house everyday, walk on a treadmill at a really slow speed for 45 mins a day and he'll probably lose 100lbs (or a Ken Griswold) by December.

The thing is they didn't have to have access. I might have shown up for inside information (which as you said was really scout.com info) but the quality of the other poasters and the community was #WhyIStayed. The community was the golden goose. Simply by virtue of being "First!!!", DM.c had a stranglehold on the online UW fan market, and all they had to do was not fuck it up. But then Kim decided to shut down criticism of Sloppy 7 and convince people he was "hearing" things, and in the process he ran off all the poasters worth sticking around for.

So now DM.c has no community AND no info. It's a wasteland of abundance.

BUT HOW IS KIM A SHITTY CEO???????

Excellent Tequilla-like diatribe - except I read it.

No Sark - No access for Kim
No Herb Mead - No access for AANDY (who I happen to personally like - he's a good guy)
No Sark, Mead, or AANDY - No "inside info" for Fleenor

Kim tried to make this posse the Skull and Bones of Doogman - insider, behind closed doors, secret handshake mother fuckers. It was all bullshit and Kim is still attempting to feed it to the masses to slurp up.

None of these guys ever knew or know jack shit.

I hope Coach Pete is successful here so he can keep laughing at Kim and his stupid questions during kick-ass pressers.

First, thanks for the FREE PUB

Second, the "golden goose" of the online community being KJV's biggest mistake is spot on. I had mentioned that to him years ago because that was the competitive advantage that nobody could replicate. Of course, in all his business sense as a CEO, he pissed a competitive advantage that any smart business owner would know was an asset that you couldn't pay enough for and piss it all away.

Finally, with regard to Browning, I didn't stay through the entire Spring Fling and really only stayed long enough to see the warm-ups. The first thing that stood out to me in watching the QBs was that the way Browning carried himself screamed of him having the "IT" that you look for out of the QB position and it was as apparent that he had that swagger about him as it was that the other two didn't have that swagger. It looked effortless for Browning in making the throws and just watching out other players, etc. interacted with him it looked to my highly untrained and distant eye that he was the one that most of the guys were assuming would be the long-term answer at QB. He will have his challenges as he adjusts to the speed of the game, etc. But similar to how everybody is all hyping up Goff this year, the benefits of getting Browning into the game this year will be the payoff that we will have over the 2016, 2017, and maybe even 2018 seasons.

Did nobody actually watch Goff's freshman year? How did he become the poster child for the play-em-early doogs?

It's not that Goff was great his true frosh year. But he was at least on par compared to the other options that Cal had available and while a young QB will experience growing pains and make a few turnovers that they shouldn't, there is no substitute for taking live reps and learning on the fly IF the player is capable of growing from the experience versus getting buried from the mistakes.

He threw for 3500, had a 18-10 td-int ratio and completed 60%.

He took that experience and his numbers bumped to 4k, 35-7, and 62% as a sophomore.

He is the poster child, you're out of your depth here.
