If your dog was drowning in a lake, and simultaneously a stranger was drowning nearby, do you save your dog or the stranger?

30 years ago, Prager said everyone would save the stranger.

Today in 2022, a majority would save their pet and not the stranger.

So on the news today the state is urging everyone to carry NARCAN. My immediate thought was I don't know any junkies so I'd be carrying it to save the life of an junkie who is a stranger. Pass.
