a pretty fantastic Article on Sark's career.

"Pat Haden, USC’s athletic director, was a quarterback, too. He picked Sarkisian largely on feel."

Well he certainly didn't pick him because of his conference record.

Lots of reasons were given for the hire of Sark & none had to do with his coaching ability.

He knows SC. He can recruit. He's not Lane Kiffin. He was 40-5 as SC's OC. (Never before was a coordinator assigned a W/L record).

here's the answer to all those amazing decisions on critical plays we witnessed during the Sark Dynasty:

“People ask when you should call a shot play downfield. I can’t tell you. You just know when the timing is right. You trust your preparation and your coaches, and you understand that the opposing coach is coaching, too. And the last decision can’t affect the next decision.”

tl:dr version - he gets out-coached every fucking time.

"Pat Haden, USC’s athletic director, was a quarterback, too. He picked Sarkisian largely on feel. Sarkisian was 34-29 in five years at Washington, not bad considering the Huskies were 0-12 the year before he got there."

You left out that bit about Owen12. Don't be a twister.

Sark is the youngest of 7 children...that explains so much. No wonder he thinks he can get whatever he wants just because he's hip, cool, and brought UW back from Owen12.

That Oakland HC job in 2007 though, he stayed the fuck away from that. Good move too since he had no chance of a >.500 record in the NFL w/ Al Davis's team.

Sark's description reminds of the out of towner's who come to Las Vegas and pay all of our bills. Those gut feelings and hunches keep the lights burning bright and our economy roaring along. This also explains alot about the 5-4 conference records, the three game in a row losses, and the curb stomping's along the way. Thank you Pat Haden, you deserve a night of lap dances every time you visit Seattle for taking this clown off our hands.
