SNOW REPORTER'S UPDATE
April 29, 7:30 a.m.
It’s a t-shirt skiing kind of day! Thursday's forecast calls for all-day sunshine with a high around 54° at Pine Marten and even more pleasant temps at the base area (perfect for a parking lot bbq lunch). The slopes did not take a hard set overnight, so the turns will be soft and supple to start and will only get creamier from there[/b]. If you plan on coming up for some lunch laps, we recommend taking turns off Summit as the afternoon temps plus sun exposure will make some of the more exposed lower terrain a bit too soft. Thursday may give us the first taste of what summer holds for us, but we are happy to continue making big turns and fast laps from the slopes for now.
