I have been to seattle public school board meetings as well as those at my own kid's schools. It's a fucking clown show. There's definitely an achievement gap, and it affects all kids, even those in two parent homes with great jobs and plenty of time to nurture their children. And the last two years of lockdowns and school closures to blame.
