Good points but Bannon hasn't explained why dropping the bunker busters was the start of an eternal war and breaking a campaign promise. Trump always said that Iran wasn't going to get a nuke (like all the other US presidents that lied and said the same thing). Trump was president for four years and dropped lots of bombs taking out ISIS. But no eternal wars were started. Lindsey isn't Trump and Bibi has to know that Trump isn't putting troops on the ground in Iran. Bannon got himself out on a limb. We will let it play out. But as of right now the US is in a better foreign policy place than if we played in Bannon's way.
Because as Bannon has pointed out, Israel started bombing Iran knowing all along that they didn't have the ability to finish the deal and would need America to close it out — but never spoke with Trump ahead of time. My hunch amid all that was that Lindsey Graham gave Bibi the wink and nod and don't worry we'll get Trump to give the green light. WHEN YOU STOP AND THINK ABOUT IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN, and how we got sucked into something that costs us trillions of dollars and thousands of lives and limbs, it would be criminal to not ask questions and demand answers and why did Israel need to have it bombed NOW?
One other thing not discussed is that Tel Aviv and Jerusalem were getting pounded by the Iranians and the Israelis were running out of munitions to defend themselves.
