A good life lesson and rule of thumb

There’s a whole industry where new startup food and other CPG product companies pay third parties to go buy their own products off the shelves. Basic reason is that the stores will see them performing well and it tricks them into giving you more shelf space which increases the base load inventory they carry.
 
The Pepsi Challenge is one of the greatest marketing ideas of all time. I applaud innovation like this. Outright fraud not so much but as our Roman friends said- buyer beware
