When is the last time we heard a quality in-state OL say this: The 16-year-old rising junior didn’t take long to make his choice. Adams, who grew up rooting for the Huskies, was offered a scholarship less than a week ago and verbally committed Monday. “I was set to get there since I was 5,” he said. “It was an easy choice for me.”

Of course, I know nothing about this kid, so I hope "quality" is accurate.

It's not a good sign that our head coach who used to be a QB has more meat on his bones than the OL he just signed.

That is amazing. I hope he is actually good. Like that guy probably can't remember our last Rose Bowl. I wish more people had parents who are such a good influence. =P

When it comes to Sark recruiting OLs, I'm as skeptical as anyone. However, keep in mind that this kid is 16 and just finished his sophomore year. Let's see what he looks like 2 years from now.

I've seen him play. He's legit. Another great get for Sark and staff.

"Another great get?" Do you mean OLs? If so, who are the others? Look, I hope you're right, but were you a Nathan Dean fan?

"Another great get?" Do you mean OLs? Or players regardless of position? Look, I hope you're right, but were you a Nathan Dean fan?

don't feed the troll.

Unless you're playing along really subtly you're about to get whooshed.

The only high school kids who root for/ want to attend UW are those whose parents went there or were big fans. Go to a high school in Seattle and you will see a lot of Oregon gear and a lot of USC gear. Wearing UW stuff now is like wearing Seahawks stuff to school in the early 90s. Its a good way to get a wedgie.

Disagree. This was probably true in 2008-2009 but there seems to be more kids wearing UW gear. Sadly, most of them wearing it appear to be more skilled at drinking Mountain Dew, eating fast food and wearing skinny jeans (Hi Kim!) than at being athletes.

Catering to the stoner demographic will help recruiting. Just watch
