You really, really suck at this. The rating means fuck all at this point. They have a bunch of 3* guys, which are the backbone of the class anywhere outside of southern cal and the southeast. Until a class closes with more 2* than 4* (who actually come to UW (hi Sark), there is nothing to worry or complain about.

3* guys who are offered and commit this early are much, much more valuable than 3 star guys (if you trust your staff's eye for talent, which with Petermen's record you should). If the staff offered this early, it means that those guys are at the top of the staff's "want" list. A bunch of them may even end up being upgraded to 4 star guys as they blow up their Senior year. For example, both Mariota and Manziel were unheralded when Chip offered (and Oregon was the first major offer for both of them). By the time the process was over Mariota was a 4* with a ton of offers and Sark proposing to him on the phone and Manziel had received his dream offer and jumped ship to Aggiecult.

The 2-3* guys you should be wary about are the ones the staff offers next January when they have whiffed on everyone else rated higher (the Sark special, think James Atoe).
