Watched the last 5 minutes of the loss to USC, and Hopkins just sat on the bench with his head resting on his hand, staring out onto the court. Team was probably down by 10 or 12 but he totally gave up and just pouted like a whiny little motherfucker.

Then, today I see UW lost by 25 at home to Ucla. NOC. Ucla games in January used to be events. Now, fuck it.

Hopkins needs to be tarmacced immediately and seek help. At the risk of being labeled mental health superiority guy, he doesn’t seem right.

I used to love Husky basketball. With football actually appearing to be financially giving a shit for the first time since Rick, just let basketball rot until Hopkins contract is up. With the portal and the right coach it doesn’t matter how low that sick looking mother fucker lays the program. It can rebound in a year if you bring in the right guy.

DeBoer wasn't my first choice but my ultimate first choice was to go get the North Dakota State football coach and AD and start over. We kind of did that in the coach route (someone who had won hugely in the lower ranks and bring them into the Seattle culture). But again, I wasn't yelling to get DeBoer.
