8-4

Some on this board were saying it would be better to win the Holiday Bowl than make the playoffs and lose round one.
I said that, except that it wasn't that we would simply "lose round one"… It was with the belief that winning the Holiday Bowl would help build for the future better than losing the first round 42-3 to Georgia, Alabama, etc.
Indiana got blasted in the first round last year.
I don't see your point.

Instead of winning the Holiday Bowl last year, Indiana got blown out by Notre Dame. And the following year are 12-0.

Not really, since I would've fired Fisch after Wisconsin and would fire him a second time if he misses the playoff next year.
We get your standard is 11-2 or better every year. You can shut the fuck up about it now bff buddy xoxo

You won't fire him next year either
Ok let's talk about our playoff game

You would fire him after Wisconsin but you wouldn’t fire him right now?

I enjoyed the curb stomp of UCLA in our house of horrors down there.
There were some signs of optimism in the Oregon game, particularly defensively for all but one or two plays.
At this point I'd LIPO in year 3 and fire if UW is not 10-2 or better and in the playoff, because in all likelihood coaches that don't breakthrough in the first 3 years never will.
This is all jibberish anyways since I can't fire Fisch.
But if I were AD, Fisch would be gone after Wisconsin at the snowy airport tarmac and Mora would be here right now.

Beating UCLA by that much makes the Wisconsin result even more tarmacable in my mind.

Our progress this year can be summed up as follows: We had less bad losses than we did the previous year.
No wins against good teams in 2 years. Still losing to bad teams in year 2.
This has all the signs of playoffs next year.

We have no signs that qb incompetent against good defense. Until we see that we aren’t making the playoffs.

fisch has shown massive proclivity toward playing his favorites. UW will see the same ineptitude at QB next year
