One of the reasons Salk hates the Huskies is because he hosts a show with Brock. Since he's a pale slug with no athletic ability he feels inferior whenever he is reminded of that fact.

He's a robot, just very average and boring. Ed Cunningham is worse, that guy is a never ending stream of misery and depression.
 
I listened to Brock's show for quite awhile. It was decent before Salk left to Boston for a year. When Danny came aboard it was pretty good for the most part. Salks return catapulted them into full retard territory. Salk is a caricature of an angry east coast liberal sports shock jock and Brock stands by and Aww Shucks for three hours everyday talking about his kids and the Good Book. Brock has a good critical eye for football and does a good job as an interviewer not pulling his punches. Salk is a fucking embarrassment who steps on his dick trying to convince people he is an important figure in Seattle sports. Brock could carry his own show somewhere else but will never reach his full potential where he is.

I think it's funny how every year Cunningham predicts Oregon is going to have a down year. One of these days that will be true and he'll be saying "SEE, I told you". Former Husky "legend" or not just in general I find him to be a pompous ass who thinks way, way too much of himself.
