Johnson not improving is disappointing. I thought he had potential early last season.

I hope Upshaw doesn't do too well this season because he will an early draft pick if he keeps this up. 4.4 blocks in 17 minutes per game is special. This team with Murray and a year older Dorsey could possibly win a Pac 12 championship. Unfortunately, that will never happen if NWG and/or Upshaw go pro.

I have never been an Andrews fan, but I agree with Cuntwaffle's Dentmon comparison. He's not afraid to take big shots and will be a solid 4 year player.

The time to win is now. The talent is there. Romar will completely fumble it, of course, but with a competent coach this is a S16 team provided everyone stays healthy.

We haven't really played anyone. We look better. It's tough to say if this team is actually good or just a better version of mediocre.
 
I don't know if the team is actually good or not, I should rephrase. I think the talent on paper is there for a return to the tourney, but Romar will choke it all away. Par for the course.
 
If Upshaw tightens up his ability to finish around the rim, he really would be a dwight howard type. The kind of guy that shouldn't be playing college ball.

I'm cautious before Romar pulls me back in, but there are two quality complimentary pieces in NWG and Upshaw that could make some noise. The emergence of Dorsey is an absolute x-factor towards this teams tourney hopes and success.
