Sometimes small and simple has better odds of success.
Wedding 1.0 for me was crazy expensive with 200 people. Basically country club wedding at a ski resort. Barely made it 4 years.
Wedding 2.0 beach in Orange County with 32 people. We're till death do us part on this one.
I also had a first wedding that was a huge production

Mrs. Courics and I kept it small. 20 people, just family and a few friends. No one there that I didn't want to be there. Rented out a high end bar and got their Head Bartender, Chef, and Pastry Chef. Custom drinks, custom menu, custom desserts. Just a few hours, just one place to write a check to, then bounced to the honeymoon.
No headache whatsoever.
