3 games in. Here's what we learned...

morrison is who he is. he's roughly an average hitter, with average 1B defense, who has trouble with durability. the mariners could obviously do better but they could also do worse

This, he's not a huge problem at the moment. The biggest issue in their lineup are the corner outfield spots.
long term yes. If smith is healthy rf should be fine. In lf ackley is off to a good start but I still worry that hes going to turn into old ackley again. My biggest concern is zunino. I know he had 2 hits yesterday but 75% of the time he still looks completely lost at the plate

Most teams are going to have a weak spot in their lineup. Morrison at 1b is much better than a lot of other teams situations for weak areas.

Cano is tattooing the ball right now and hitting it right at people. Cruz is going to strike out and have 0 for games a lot. He has never been a .330 hitter while hitting 40 jacks like some make him out to be. as he showed twice this Weekend though he can completely change the game with one swing and that threat is always there.

It takes at least 2 months or so to really start judging teams. Maybe they suck and are the same ol overhyped Mariners. On paper this is the best they have been in years though so you need to still LIPO. Or at leads stop jumping to conclusions 6 games into a 162 game season.

And for those bashing LoMo, have to remember that DJ Peterman will probably be big league ready around June/July
