I remember wanting the Irish to win and getting so excited I was running around after the Rocket punt return that my brother and my mom thought I put money down on the Irish to win.
 
I watched it in a restaurant where we ate dinner after watching the DAWGS destroy Iowa in the Rose Bowl thinking what if UW had scored from first and goal at Colorado. Or hadn't choked out against UCLA

We were in our hotel room in Diamond Bar after the long drive back from Pasadena.

I think we were still trying to get out of the rose bowl parking lot as that game was wrapping up.
