Good points, Wisconsin looks bad at home today and is likely to go 12-13 combined for 2023 and 2024. Rhule is currently 11-12 at Nebraska, including 6-11 in conference games.Matt Rhule and Luke Fickell are both proven, winning coaches in CFB. Both are heading to year 3 in the B10 having yet to “prove it” with a big season. I think Fish is ahead of both these guys as his year 1 at UW looks a lot like their year 2. It’s not been perfect but it is looking up. The roster was lit on fire after 2023. They could be 8-3 with a couple lucky bounces they also could be 4-7 if the ball bounces the wrong way. Winter portal will be fire. They’ll plug 5-6 holes with difference makers and guys on roster will develop. UW will be very competitive next year. 9-10 win competitive. Just my 2c.”Three year plan” is very pre-portal nomenclature. This is a two year plan and I agree that 10+ wins is the expectation next year. The program is in descent
Hope this helps
Few people care about another three year plan. Even less after tomorrow
Fisch's job has been to stabilize Husky football, plug holes in the roster left by the previous two coaches, stack recruiting classes, and rebuild depth. I'd say he is doing a pretty good job so far and am looking forward to seeing how he does with a full portal season rather than scrambling.
And a nice development is that he and the staff have made recruiting WA again. Local players are less likely to flip during the recruiting process and the population has grown by over 1 million people in the last decade.
