Zelensky says US money for war was a grant, not a loan

Countering the lies can be exhausting, but let's begin with "hundreds of billions" of dollars. We have not contributed hundreds of billions of dollars.

It's almost as if any asshole can say any fucking thing he wants on the Twitter.
 
There were accounting tricks to keep the official number low. We discussed those on this board. Value the weapons at close to zero and then spend in other budgets to refill the stockpiles with fresh cash.
 
@HHusky continues to be on the wrong of literally everything. It would be unbelievable if I hadn’t witnessed it for over a decade.
The amount of money is debatable, as BobC pointed out. That it is a loan is not up for debate according to the bill that sent them my money.

If the person with the money says it was a gift, then you better have a note and an honest judge, an enforcement mechanism and a solvent debtor to get your money back.

So now the left gets to decide was it Biden or Zelensky lying about taxpayer money. Watching the left's response to Doge I don't think they'll care.
