Two of the best historical novels I've read are Herman Wouk's Winds of War and War and Remembrance about World War II in Europe and the Nazi treatment of the Jews. Very powerful and yes it left a lasting impression. But why would it cause a "lifetime of discomfort and distress"? Much/most of human history isn't pretty, doesn't mean we shouldn't learn about it. Most of the ugliness is about racial and tribal differences. When leftards want to divide us based on skin color, religion, vaxx status et al it won't end well because humans will human. The American experience as exemplified by MKL Jr. was that all men were created equal and we all need to work on the strength of our character and not be judged based on skin color.

I wouldn't support the Wyoming legislation and it's so ambiguous that it seem unconstitutional on its face.
