Ma and Pa Throbber (RIP) both from the great state of Wyoming. Pa Throbber use to bully former Secretary of the Interior James Watt.

The Throbber actually owns some mineral rights in Wyoming. Drill, baby, drill. War Niobrara.

Drove thru as a child (as a passenger), the couple of times I was there as an old adolescent / young adult, all I cared about in life was getting laid/drunk...so I got drunk. Now, having “matured”, I feel like I would enjoy the beauty and majesty of the land...one of my daughters (in Denver, no pics) raves about Jackson Hole, winter and summer...

I've been to Jackson twice. Both were two hour visits to break up the monotony of camping and riding quads on the dunes near Rexburg, ID. I think I ate the same sandwich from the same cafe/patio both times.

I used to run into Evanston, WY, to buy up all the Coors Extra Gold in the town and bootleg it back across the Utah state line. Evanston is in the ass hole of WY and was a choo choo town originally on the UP (hi @swaye ) but now thrives on selling full cheap liquor, fireworks and porn to the Mormons.

Some of the most awesome scenery I've ever seen, and some of the worst shithole excuses for towns I've ever seen. Stay in the north/northwest and you'll be fine. The southern third of the state is a mess.

I'm not man enough to live there year round, but I can dig a summer visit any old time. I'd like to spend about 3 weeks fishing and camping there.

No fishing in WY? Sad. That’s the whole point.

been to Yellowstone 3 times, drove thru 3 other times, and went to the rodeo at Cody.

On the way out of Sheridan through the Bighorn Forest? passed a moose calf having to slow down to about 30 MPH being careful and fascinated at the same time when mama came charging out of the brush and chased my ass as I sped away hoping I got out of her range. I did. as I drove away mama was still prancing about in the highway.

I felt sorry for the next Japanese car to drive by - she was in a rage.

I know CSB

We used to do the same in E.WA, the Friday afternoon Lewiston run for Banquet, back when we couldn’t get non-union beer...

Nah I needed one more trip but my Dad died a few months after the last one and the whole tradition went down the shutter.

I played a lot of golf and rode on the scary ass dunes. The golf was great. The ball goes far there.. The riding gave me nightmares. No joke. I actually had bad dreams after the first big ride I went on. I'm not a bad rider either thats just some crazy terrain.

The Henry's Fork of the snake runs through the Rexburg area. I'm guessing further upstream away from the irrigation and farms is where I would have been headed. I know there's good fishing ro be had in the Jackson Hole area too. I would have figured it out for the next trip.

Henry’s Fork is about as storied fly guy water as there is in the West. South Fork of the Snake below Palisades is some of the best dry fly fishing in the country. Idaho, Montana and Wyoming are the Mt Rushmore of fly fishing. Not sure who the 4th spot goes to.

I’ve always wanted to go and behold the majestic beauty before Californian and Washington refugees trash the place.

Before you die or it explodes, Yellowstone is a must. The Tetons and NW Wyoming are pretty spectacular. It gets pretty sparse in central Wyoming but cool in its own way - especially if you like oil wells.

I mean, if you're going to make your move on Gov. Noem in SD, you may as well pass through Wyoming on your way to the next conquest.

Our lake place growing up was next to the Coors distributor out of Lewiston. He'd roll in on Friday nights with a pickup truck full of the stuff.

Once in a while he'd send a whole beer truck up. Fucking amazing. Getting drunk at age 12 is awesome.

I used to go drive a few hrs north from Utah to go camp along and fish the Greys River. Spectacular unspoiled cuntry for of free rising cutts. Took my daddy's Mossberg 500 and some slugs for bears.

Didn't get to camp with this lady though which sucked.

We're going to need @puppylove_sugarsteel to validate this
