Watching the LLWS, all their fans are wearing masks (and not even good ones) outside. What is it about their culture that make them so compliant and scared? The Canadian fans must hate Castro Jr.. They are not compliant.

Didn't see any cameras but the over under per fan has to be + .4. Now watching Hawaii and they are almost all Japanese as well and they too are wearing masks. I guess it's just a cultural thing. I guess they don't follow or understand the science.

Pre covid mask wearing in Japanese culture was something they did only when they were sick, but your never supposed to take a day off from work. It was a way of nonverbal communication to to say "Hey, I'm a super hard dedicated worker, extra brownie points for me!". So I think the habit was easier to transition to after covid.

Masks in Asian cultures to control flu spread has been around a long long time and has intensified with Covid, as one could imagine.
