Leach is just throwing people under the bus to make it look like he's doing something.
 
Someone needs to make a post on CougFan saying next year is the first year of Leach's regime that counts. #Bleenor

Clearly someone was going to have to be sacrificed and it surely wasn't going to be anybody from the record setting offense.

Because having the best offense in the country being shut out through 3 quarters is a defensive issue.

Well that's a promotion, so it really depends on if he absolutely hated Leach in his one season with him or just left because a better opportunity came along. If it's the latter, I can see that being a job he'd bolt for.
 
Can @CokeGreaterThanPepsi‌ you (didnt realize you started the thread) run some analytics on coaches firing coordinators and getting exponentially better?

It always seems like delaying the inevitable

True. These are exceptions. Not the norm. We have decades of evidence that it's the head coach that matters.
