I had flipped it to that game and was watching when it happened. Daniels was out there playing like a maniac while trailing by about four scores in the 4th quarter. I haven't heard what he has yet, but it looked pretty bad. Either hosed his knee or possibly broke his lower leg.
 
I wouldn't have qualms about him being in, if you could trust him to not takeoff and run (which is, of course, what he does) without also protecting himself.

It'd be nice to think an NFL pro could understand the situation and get reps in, but also understand how not to put himself in harms way.

Russell Wilson was quite adept at this (sliding, getting out of bounds, avoiding hits, etc).

It's a muscle that needs to be exercised for these guys.

Guys sprain ankles standing in the pocket or in practice so I am fully in favor of letting football players play ball
but
it probably doesn't make sense to have guys in late AND running wild

His non-throwing elbow went inside out and his season is probably over.

I just saw that a bit ago but it was too late to edit. I'm really surprised though. All I could aee was his lower leg get stuck/tangled with the tackler in a real awkward way. I didn't even notice something happening to his arm.
 
I don’t like it when these ankles, elbows, etc go in directions they weren’t intended to go in. Yeah, they make more in a year than what I’ll see in my life but something gruesome like that has to be more difficult to come back from - both physically and mentally.
