This is FS. Browning and Sirmon are three years apart and of course Browning didn't redshirt. So they may not even overlap at all.

We need to hit on our QB this year. Relying on the freshman Messiah to come in and save the day is not a reliable strategy.
 
Two years in a row of settling for Plan G QBs. Hopefully this is the final nail in Smith's coffin and Tedford is named OC as soon as he can be.

Biggins even hinted that Garbers was pissed at Smith for telling him he was their next in line after Gebbia and then offering Sears the next day.

In the end it won't really matter as long as Browning stays 4 years. If he leaves early, we'll be looking at true frosh Sirmon starting
 
What a freaking shitshow in QB recruiting..... This Is like Plan J....... Smith needs to be FIRED. This is beginning to be a joke. If Sirmon DECOMMITS we're left with nothing.... better hope Harbaugh doesn't flip Sirmon.

I agree with you, but browning will be here through the 2018 season.

Sirmon will get on campus in January of 2018, redshirt that year and be ready hopefully as a RS-frosh in 2019.

Like I said, I agree that this QB recruiting stuff is bullshit but it's not like we'd have a true frosh we need to rely on.

I agree with you, but browning will be here through the 2018 season.

Browning staying and Sirmon making it to campus are both more likely than not but neither is 100% certain either.
