Time to step up and get somebody. Only a major move can stop the bleeding (in the public's eye). Make Mora an offer he can't refuse....NOW!

I'm with you on the need to go get Mora, no question. Not with you on the absolute urgency to do SOMETHING. Take your time and do it right. Rush hires almost never work out well. Obviously, we know Mora is the best candidate, so if they hire him quickly, great. Otherwise, a quick hire would probably be disastrous.
