Will one year at UW be enough for Penix to enter Husky Hall of Fame?

If he closes things out with an 11-2 record and bowl win, the strong argument could be made. He certainly deserves it more than Locker. Sorry, @JoeEDangerously

If Corey Dillon didn’t make it then Penix won’t.

On a side note, Corey dropped out of school as soon as the season was over. Penix already has a degree, I believe. That could influence things.

Although Dillon and Lambright had beef. If Penix ever makes an NFL start and announces Indiana or his middle school as his alma mater then still a no. If he says Washington, then probably.

He'll have played more game as UW than he did in 4 seasons at Indiana

If he wins out I think its a special season. If he drops a stinker again like the UCLA game then maybe not so much

Dillon felt more like 'rent a back' than does Penix IMO. That said, Dillon had a juvenile rap sheet that stretched from here to San Francisco, and knowing the UW as I do, that has probably factored in. That can be the only rationale for his exclusion, because he's arguably the best back to play at UW since HM. Maybe not even arguably ... I'd take him over Nip/Nap or even MMFG, and I have a bias against the black and white film era because they didn't face the best competition available.

Corey Dillon says fuck yes

I think if any of the below 3 happen, you gotta say yes:

- finishes the year as the nation's leading passer
- we win the Pac
- we finish the regular season 10-2 with a bowl win over a good opponent

I would add breaks Cody picketts single season passing record to the list.

Dillon was badmouthed by Lambo. Wonder if that factored in🤷‍♂️

I also don't think Dillon is close to the program. At least that's what I've been told.

He’s close to the program and multiple guys on that team. Dillon didn’t go to class, he would have been ineligible. He made the right move
