Why would the PAC 12 network ask Oregon

It's simple. In 1975 James went after USC. In 199something before 94 even Moos went after Washington.
Our mission is to get better than Oregon because they are better than everyone else. It's a fact. 4 pac 12 titles in 6 years and a shot at a 2nd shot at a Natty.
They know how to win and we don't yet. That's why I wasn't that crushed this year that we didn't beat some teams. We've been losing to good teams for years.
It matters to me that we have a plan to be the best. That's what I'm looking for.
Right now it's Oregon. It is what it is
