What's the point of burning their redshirts? Don't we have enough WRs already on the field? Putting Daniels on special teams is worth burning his redshirt?

And regarding Farria, does garbage time against idaho state really justify costing this kid a year, especially when he could be a future star?

Very true. Those who think he will stay if he gets a shot at the NFL or a bigger school are fooling themselves. I think 2014 will be his last year. 2015 is setting up to be a major rebuilding year. The whole OL, but Charles will be gone, Sankey, Kasen, Timu, Shirley, Shelton, Evan Hudson, possibly Shaq, possibly Peters. The core of this team are the juniors.

 
I thought the same thing. However, both freshmen are future NFL Hall-of-Famers and won't be around long enough to use a redshirt........ don't you know. And is a practice scrimmage against donut hole ISU enough experience to burn a redshirt in the event that both youngsters might actually need it?

Or do you think that maybe he is trying to get two of the most athletic players on the roster ready for the games where they will need their best athletes??

You have no idea the damage that Rick redshirting all but one player from an entire class did.

Just wait until Sark gets his own 5th year seniors in here!
