you can actually just sleep in your rental car in Palo Alto, so really no reason to splurge on the Extended Stay America.

Stanford grads (particularly Stanford MBAs) own the companies that hire non-WSU college grads to manage their enterprises, who hire the hard-working high-school grads to manage their local enterprises, who hire the WSU grads to sweep and mop their retail establishments on the graveyard shift.
 
Stock options in the Palouse mean something entirely different than they do in Silicon Valley
