FSU can't get rid of Norvell after what they had to do to keep him from heading to Bama.
 
I think they got fucked last year but the way they acted, quit, and then got raped has set the tone for that program. Norvell made his bed. Plus if he thinks DJ was the answer he’s clearly dumb as fuck.
 
FSU is not a good football team, the fact they were rated #10 preseason tells you everything you need to know about preseason rankings.
 
I like how these ESPN guys are bringing up "People don't realize all the leaders and guys that held that locker room together last year that are gone from this FSU team" but they completely fucking overlook that with other top 10 ranked teams this year.

Now that Florida State is toast, Notre Dame likely won't play a ranked opponent again until USC in their final game, and I hate it. You can nearly pencil these pencil dicks into the playoff already. I got mad beef with that program.

preseason rankings also had Clemson as 14-ish and udub unranked. I hope both of those clowns finish unranked.

Preseason rankings are only going to get harder and harder as teams completely have to reinvent themselves every year because of the portal. I also wonder if teams are going to need more games to get their footing (UW included). Also wouldn't be surprised if we see more try hard and average programs that outpace blue blood types because they bring back better nucleuses while others have to completely retool with a bunch of unknowns.

Help me out here. If ND wins out do they get a BYE in the first round. For some reason I think its only conference champions.

Caple and O'Neill said that only conference champions can get a first round bye. The language is, "the four highest ranked conference champions."

So, seems like Notre Dame would be disqualified from the bye.

Thanks. That is how I read it. Hopefully getting screwed once or twice will make them reconsider joining an actual conference.
