Which NFL team is going to hire

44th in the country in points against per game

In this fantasy is the NFL a basketball league?

Bellichick? He gone. At least I would be if I was him.
Grubb was able to jump from college OC to NFL OC by running one of the best offenses on a 14-1 team
Why would an NFL team want a middling DC from a 6-6 team?
He's making $1.2m a year here. He'd be making less than half that as a position coach in the NFL

Bellichick gets another year with the winter portal window to figure it out. Need 3 defensive lineman
The struggles this year are mostly on the offense.
Eventually the roof caves in on a thin defense that has to play too many snaps. (See, e.g. Iowa game). But this was a 9-10 win defense playing with a 3-4 win offense kind of a year.

Disagree. The front 7 is small

It's called nepotism, pal. Also, Belichick is the least of our problems.

He certainly wasn't in a great spot with the lack of talent, personnel that seemed more tailored for the smaller spread out Pac-12 and terrible offense and special teams, but I saw nothing that would make me want to hire him anywhere else. Couldn't get pressure on anyone other than UCLA and that was supposed to be his signature thing.

He could get a job but it won’t be as a DC. He did some interesting things, but it wasn’t like UW’s defense was good or anything.
