My neighbor literally came and ripped our sign down. I have it on camera. Debating whether to press charges as it's illegal to do so in our local.
Maybe a good scare. It's not nice to destroy your neighbors property while trespassing.
No debate about it...If they are that triggered to damage your property, they would have you charged for the same.
Note, being the bigger person and letting it go is the best way but telling the police you will drop it if they apologize puts the choice in the vandals hands.
Watching them squirm trying not to apologize would be delicious
My now-former-neighbor took down one of my yard signs promoting a State Legislative candidate during the primary. I posted on the neighborhood FB page a friendly reminder that stealing political signs is a criminal violation. Sign re-appeared the next day and the guy didn't say a word to me over the final six weeks that they lived next to us before moving. Pretty bizarre since I never indicated to him that I knew he did it, nor did I say anything after the fact.
I live in a fairly Conservative area. Its an island and there aren't that many people that live here full time. So far this season there have been over 75 complaints of Trump signs being destroyed or stolen. Not one single Headboard supporter has reported an issue with their signs.

Even though I’m not a yard sign guy. There was an uptick in political signs in our neighborhood with an R in parentheses and all of a sudden we all got letters saying it’s against the bylaws of the HOA. Our president sent a letter back to him stating none of us had that copy. Hahaha
off topic (kind of), but if some worthless punk has left dog shit on your porch three times, will the police take it at all seriously? It's worse than tearing down a yard sign for a politician, IMO
Sure they will. You know who it is? In my dads day they'd go whip the kids ass then take him home to dad and watch while dad whipped his ass. Very effective. Cops can't do that anymore.

Also, I'd bet some Sven bucks he doesn't have a dad in the picture much…. I'd use my belt on his sorry ass if I knew I'd get away with it.
