Where's the cool Addidas hoodies?

Shopping for the boys and Christmas. Found some cool stuff out there but they were from nike. No fing way. They want black and purple

UW bookstore had a cool one but no larges. Everybody jumped on this early I see.

I know. Swag is so weak. Even when they were Nike the best swag I could get was Champion and that was at the Downtown Bookstore. I can never getbcool adult stuff let alone kid stuff. Get your shit together Adidas!!!

Ever since the initial Ultraboost release debacle, I’ve been pissed off with Adidas. I love the uniforms they put out for the team, but their offerings for fans is really shitty. Now that there’s NIL, do we really need to keep the designs for the athletes “exclusive” to them to entice them to sign/STAY? Just copy/paste what they get for the masses.

Another reason I want us? to win the national championship - companies will actually want to make more licensed gear. I like having more choices.

Why can't Addidas do anything like this? Doog de Jour are you serious they have a players only lineup? What a crock of shit.

When I was in Seattle I wanted to get a new purple UW hoody. After the game, I went through the team store in the stadium and there wasn’t shit available.

I mean how many guys are out there buying all the 5 and 6 X hoodys?

I stopped at Fred Meyer to put gas in my rental car and even looked in there. I know places like Fred Meyer will carry the name brand like Nike or Adidas but even their selection was picked over and bare.

I ended up buying a 1/4 zip Adidas pullover through the team store. The sizing was a little big and the material was interesting. Instead of it being all one fabric type like my 20 other 1/4 zips, this one has an almost plastic-ish material on the shoulders and chest and then regular fabric around the torso.

Adidas does some weird stuff with their UW clothes.

As far as online selections go, I think Fanatics is the UW partner so shopping the team store online is about 99% of the same stuff you’ll find on Fanatics. Not too many Adidas hoody’s online.

I don’t know that for sure, but on social media they kept showing all these cool prototypes and photos of players wearing stuff that I hadn’t seen anywhere online or in stores.

Maybe because our fanbase doesn’t buy enough stuff they only make limited quantities…fuck if I know.

I’m pretty sure I have that one somewhere in a size that no longer fits

I’m a picky gear mofo and after I saw this on the players warming up for the Oregon game I wanted it, but it is full zip and I’m not a fan of those…. But it’s a bad ass hoodie with he metallic gold stripes.

I saw that one and loved it, and don’t mind the front zip.

Allows me flash/cover up my cleavage as needed.

I like that one too. Personally I prefer a full zip.

I actually don't get the appeal of hoodies. Does anyone over the age of 25 actually wear the hood?

Give me a water resistant soft shell with a collar any day of the week. A light rain jacket and baseball cap over that on real wet days.

As a guy who’s been shaving his head since 1999, I always go for a hood. I rarely wear it unless I’m sitting out by a fire but it helps keep the back of my neck warm and it’s there just in case.

You people with hair don’t understand the struggle.

Haha. I've been shaving my head for about 20 years too. I'll grant that it can be a difference maker. I never thought I'd do this but I often zip my jackets all the way and stand up the collar to give a few extra degrees to the blood going to my brain. I also wear hats a lot more even though I don't like to. I started shaving that shit because I don't like anything on my head.

I'll wear a hood over a hat when called for, just not a hoodie hood.

Have you ever tried this look?

Living in Hayden, Idaho, I obviously shave my head and wear hoods. Enough said on that.
