When was the last time we beat both USC and Oregon in the same season? not 2016, not 2000, ...1991?

I'm not making any predictions based on that, but it did just occur to me how rare it has been for us to beat both of these teams in the same season in the past 30 years.

Perhaps it happened in the early to mid 90s but I'm too lazy to look it up.
 
We did it in 1981, 1983, 1985, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1996, and then... 2023
 
Too many years where we didn’t even play USC, much less play in the Coliseum

Cal and Stanford broke the conference with their too precious for words pussy weak insistence that they get to play usc and ucla every year in exchange for adding teams in the realignment and the weak league president leadership actually approved that horseshit

Ended the natural rivalry of the best north south teams which diluted the tv value as well as recruiting for the conference.

Deals a death blow to the conference, leadership is weak and stupid enough to not make the required changes, all to assuage the two teams that now nobody wants including their own fans

The conference is actually a throwback TUFF slog this year. The final year everyone decided to show up and the OOC records are going to help us in the end.
