The automatic ejection for targeting is fucking stupid. Even worse that it can carry over to the first half of the next game.
I mostly hate the transfer portal especially because the young men quit rather than wait their turn or grind and get better. Not great life lessons as a young adult. I get they should have better movement options but allowing a player to transfer 3 and 4 times doesn’t seem to benefit anyone.

The rule where Dillon johnson got hurt vs Texas and nearly cost us the game. No idea why the clock didn't run after that.
Pass interference should be a spot foul. The fact you can tackle a guy who cleanly beat you is gay as fuck.

NGAF. It's a brutal sport and if you have talent to excel in other things you probably shouldn't play it. But whatever. People do, so let them be what they signed up to be.
And, after several years now, we are dog shit shitty at calling it. Calls are all over the place, they are often game changing and nobody knows what to do to avoid it.
Also, quit protecting the QB so fucking much. If you so much as hurt their feelings now you get a massive penalty. It's dumb. Play the game. If you're going to sit back there and survey the field you're going to get it. If you tuck and run you should be treated like a running back, because that's what you are.
Also, sliding. Shouldn't be a thing. If your ass isn't on the ground for a "one thousand and one" count it's live and you get fucking hit.

- Why did we bring the two-minute warning back? It feels like an ancient rule from back when there were no scoreboards and someone had to yell two minute warning in a game that was 4-2. I get it helps keep things more interesting at the end if a team is trying to come back. Fine, then at least get it out of the first half. This game already has enough stoppages and commercials.
- I don't like the new accelerated overtime. It feels like it turns it much more into a game of chance soccer shootout style. I get they want to avoid 6 hour games then just make it NFL style. I never loved the 25-yard-line one either. There's no real perfect overtime for football as a sport.

I'd change more in the NFL. The rules are even dumber.
If we're including off the field, the portal and NIL are a complete mess. You can transfer once without penalty. After that, sit out a year prima donna.
Georgia vs. Georgia Tech is the only game I've really watched it with yet and it was incredibly stupid. Seems like a huge overreaction to an ultra rare problem. How many times has UW even played more than one overtime? I barely remember even very many Pac-10/12 games with several overtimes. Once you get to the dueling conversions you might as well just go back to ties or a coin flip.
