Meh. Only thing standing in the way of USC and Riley far as the BIG and winning the BIG is tOSU juggernaut and maybe Meatchicken. If Riley will get rid of Grinch and find a Real defense coach that will put some meat in the line of defense, they may compete. UCLA not so much. Not in the near future anyway. USC is closer. Need some guysms on the DL.

You right. USC is lacking a defense. Riley took Grinch with him from OU and that’s what cost them at OU, no defense. You can score 50 on a team but when the other team scores 52, your beat. Happened against GA in the CFP with their very best team since 2000.

If USC finds a defense they may, MAY, compete. They can score. Gotta stop the other team, tho.

I was hoping they beat Utah in that game and made it to the CFP and faced GA. They got lucky and a better team, tOSU played GA.

I hate to say it but Purdue won the West last year and Northwestern won it twice in the past 5 years. Wisconsin (Cougs beat) and Iowa (John Donavan offence) are the bullies in that division. UCLA will take their turn every 6 years winning the West* and have a random good CCG against Penn St or something in the next couple decades
