In the Sark era, which of these on-air scenarios was most embarrassing?

Toughest pole to date. They were all equally as embarrassing.

I'm going to vote the special teams one since special teams is still a problem two years after that comment. Plus all great coaches pride themselves on having great special teams.

I really can't think of a championship team/great coach who had terrible special teams.

Attention lurkers from Dawgman, here's something for you to ponder. Even if you think the above poll is too negative in tone, ask yourself: What would happen to you if you sincerely posted this on Dawgman.com?

The bad defense was embarrassing but the retarded lawn mower dance topped it all off, even worse because they were about to shit the bed again.

Write in vote for Kirk Herbstreit predicting that Gameday would be in Seattle for the 2010 Nebraska plunger rape AND calling Sarkisian the best playcaller in America in the same interview with Salk and Brock:
http://mynorthwest.com/?a=20366&n=&nid=577&p= (a great listen in retrospect)

Also, the fail in this prediction column by Herbstreit is remarkable:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/preview10/news/story?id=5500472

while your options might be embarrassing to Herbie (swoon), I don't see how they would be embarrassing to Husky fans. Especially in the context of this pole.

Listening to Herbie suck up to Lockner and Sarkisian is embarrassing. HTH

Can I vote for "all of the above?"
I went with the dance.
Fucking gay.
Win something BIG like the Las Vegas Bowl than pop-off.

but maybe... just maybe (read: obviously) without the lawnmower dance we wouldn't have a new poster for this seasons that reminds the players to be committed to finishing before they start the yard work.

What makes the lawnmower dance so embarrassing is the fact they are doing it in a bowl game late in the game before giving up a long kick off return(which sets up Derek's special teams point) which ultimately loses the game. The previous game same idiots did this dance as we blew an 18 point lead showing they learned absolutely NOTHING!

To top it all off I'm hearing there is a coach behind them doing this fucktarded dance.

The lawnmower dance is a bad look for Sark, but it also shows the type of players we have recruited. A lot of these guys are pussies. Not only is that evident on the field, but also from the players doing the lawnmower. The players at Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Oregon, etc would never do a synchronized lawnmower dance.

Rick had some similarities to Sark, but none of the guys off the 2000 team would ever do it, even if they coaches highly encouraged it, which is what Sark's assistants do.

After a bit of deliberation (it was a hard pole), I decided to go with the lawnmower choice.

It's one thing to be mediocre, or to suck at something. It's a completely different thing to dance(?) in unison while you are doing that.

I don't think Sark even remembers or cares how bad the special teams were in 2010. Last year, I read a quote from Sark on the Coach's Show that basically said, the special teams have been pretty good under his watch. It pissed me off and I wish someone would have slapped the shit out of him for saying it.

Have we had a return for TD under Sark? I know we have given up a couple every year. I also know that I have never seen worse kickoff coverage than the 2010 team. Every return by the opposition was at least 40-50 yards. Sark's teams have gotten more kicks/punts blocked than they have blocked. Other than Folk hitting a couple clutch FG's (fairly easy kicks), our special teams have been shit, and it is not limited to the 2010 team.

Having strong special teams shows an organized and disciplined team aka a well coached team. It's not a coincidence that the best teams get strong special teams play. Our special teams play is just another example of Sark not being a strong leader for the program.

We are a football school (hehe) built on hard nosed defensive football. To hear that our defense was the worst Spielman had EVER seen was a total embarrassment, yet completely true. FML.

I remember thinking the same thing before he said it. That was embarrassing. Completely different circumstance, but it reminded of Forrest Gregg's stint as coach at SMU.

To make matters slightly worse, Spielman was on the Ohio State team that came to Seattle in 1986 and got destroyed 40-7 on national TV.

Exactly. Spielman understands good and bad defense. I do not think he said that lightly. He meant it. We had the worst defense he had EVER seen, literally. Pathetic really.

I know, though my thoughts were that he used the obvious to vent a little. The Huskies defense was an easy target for him to get a dig in, in much the same way former Miami players did after Neuheisel got plungered in Myjami.
