What can We?/I do?

It sounds stupid, but emails actually do matter. ADs, even Presidents, are not as insulated as people think.

People also don't think Cauce is a football fan, which is wrong. She just - imo - doesn't know what to do. So it's important to reach her, as well as the AD, to balance out what she is hearing from Cohen ("we're fixing it. it's hard. we need more time"). Reach out far and wide.

president@uw.edu; cauce@uw.edu

huskyad@uw.edu; jcohen@uw.edu; jbuti@uw.edu.

100%. It can and will make a difference. I know it's easy to throw the white flag up and be cynical/do nothing, but everyone reading this thread (you too, lurkers) needs to be writing respectful-but-urgent emails to those aliases. Emphasize your love and enthusiasm for the program, and that it is because of this passion that you cannot in good conscience contribute monetarily to anything AD-related until Lake[/s] Jen is gone.

How would a AD let alone the President of the University even begin to get through all the e-mails they must get everyday from people writing about everything under the sun?

If people have wrote and gotten a response back is it a form reply, or does it address your specific talking points?

1. Find $10m. 2. Call 3-4 different departments/schools at UW (your choice, I'd probably include the law school because lawyers are mercenaries) and tell them the first $8m is theirs to split but only if Cohen is canned. The remainder goes to help pay for a new AD.

Serious questions though

Mora coached very few defenses that were actually good. He is part of the good ol boy network and the announcers would constantly tout him as one of the brightest young minds in the game. It was never true. The guy had most of his starting defense make the NFL, some picked in the first 2 rounds and had the 80th ranked defense in college football.

He has some charisma. He recruited well. He could never coach.
