How can you cover sports and not cover the epic storyline of Washington athletics… it boggles the mind the vacuum that leaves, its like a black hole.

He joined a startup. Most startups fail.

The Athletic has always been some pseudo ESPN platform.

It's disappointing but when your main competition is free it's hard to keep the lights on.
