Washington State might be in a can’t-win situation with Mike Leach

Lucky everything about WSU is a no win situation so they won't fight taking it in the ass and just complaining about it

This. Everything about that place says " don't ever take us seriously." Their very identity is fucking up. "Coug" is the original mascot verb and every other attempt to match it fails by comparison.

I mean it's who the fuck they are down to their very fucking core.

You almost have to admire a people and institution who know 100% who they are.

It’s not unreasonable to think that Leach lost his edge after a forced hiatus following his ugly departure at Texas Tech.[/i]

Yup, that indeed was the low point of Leach’s 12-26 head start off the Wulff disaster. Fcs home loss.

Since the date of the article, Leach is 26-13 with 3 straight Bowl appearances. Something no coach at WSU has ever done.

With the Pac-12 Networks television deal bringing in less than expected,

This made me LOL

I was reading some little shitty internet sports rag the other day that said the Pac-12 Network hasn't given a dime to any of the schools yet and everything that isn't football or men's basketball has a zero, like none rating.

If true that's hilarious.

WSU under Wulff was way, way worse than UW under Ty. Leach has done a commendable job. His ceiling isn't high, of course, but he's really done a nice job. If UW hadn't hired Petersen he'd have a few more ACs and would already be a legend.

I would expect this to be closer to the truth than anything after how that Petersen vs TV scheduling spat played out. You could tell Cohen supported Petersens calculated statements and Scott overreacted to try to squash it all.
