Washington state enacts nation's most insane reparations law

It's hard to imagine that you would ever support any remedy for a past discrimination if you think this one is "the most insane". It's pretty narrow and the wrong is very well documented.
 
I don’t support any remedy for past discrimination that uses money from those that weren’t even alive when the discrimination took place.

I don't have any problem with that position either.
I'm not arguing it was imperative that this be enacted. But the claim that it's "insane" doesn't hold up at all.
And yes, I have a cousin who got one of these loans. And I have the advantage of being able to talk to her father about the redlining his family experienced not so long ago—to those of us who are old, at least.

One of the few things H has been consistent in over the years is that people of different races than hs white ass (except Asians) are inferior to him based on skin color and therefore need extra help to try and get to his level of whiteness, er, success.

Ending the Fed and usury would make it viable. Of course, usury is a sin in the Bible but the central bankers like to overlook that tidbit.
50 year mortgages and racist lending practices are not the answer.
 
Redlining ended in about 1972.
My old man doorbelled to try to end redlining when Seattle put it up for a vote in the 1960s. The effort got trounced at the polls.
 
Redlining is another word for not making loans where they have a slim chance of getting paid back

Mortgage companies aren't redlining today. Racial codes from 1940s in Pasadena are not relevant in 2025. Conservative white men and Asians are being discriminated by Team Dazzler in 2025 with the full support of the dem party that he votes for.
