Some of the preseason excitement for this matchup has worn away after Washington lost its opener to Montana, an FCS team, but it’s still a meeting of two historically strong programs in non-conference play. It’s also an opportunity for Michigan to pick up a quality win and restore confidence in the program after a disappointing 2-4 season in 2020.

Even playing at home against a team that just lost to an FCS opponent, Michigan is not a big favorite in this game. Washington only allowed 232 yards to Montana, but managed just 291 on offense in a 13-7 loss. That’s one way to lose a national ranking.

Michigan had no trouble on offense, racking up 550 total yards and putting up plenty of points in a 47-14 win against Western Michigan.

These two teams will play on ABC at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday from Michigan Stadium.

That's why I don't trust the line. Either Vegas (I like to call it Vegas) wants to lose their shirt or its the great sucker bet of all time

"Vegas" Sounds so Telly Savalas when you say it that way.

I love when people say how they would bet a game before the game (even if they’re joking), instead of after the game.

Always wonder how many actually did what they said.

No such thing as “easy money” when betting mediocre teams.

I put $1k down on Michigan -6.5.

I know, I sound pour.

I’m also amazed at how little the line has moved during the week. Someone knows something.
