Consumers don’t pay gas taxes though POTD
Dems are whining about Canadian maple syrup prices, which is a luxury item anyhow, while just ignoring how an increase in gas prices is as regressive as tax policy gets.
There is no store-label generic option in purchasing gas.

Limit supply and prices go up. All good because increased consumer prices are good as long as it increased energy costs for reasons. But god forbid that tariffs increase consumer prices. Now increasing business income taxes, sales taxes or property taxes. That's all good.
 
Isn't there something that was already passed where you cannot buy anything but an EV after like 2030? I'm assuming that that's just going to stay like that. When are they going to frantically try to amend that to exclude Tesla?

Yes, and that is reason enough for me to move outta here no later than 2030, but hopefully sooner.

I go back and forth almost monthly on it. Even if I leave the state I still have to deal with it through renting out shit, I don't want to straight sell and get out completely.
